The village of Gennadi is situated on the South Eastern coast of the island.
Gennadi is inhabited all year-round, so it caters to local residents as well as tourists.
This means that there are a large number facilities in the village such as a supermarket, bakery (daily fresh bread), greengrocer, ATM and also a post office, medical centre and pharmacy.
The bakery provides fresh bread and pastries 7 days a week...
... and of course there are a number of bars and tavernas were you can have a delicious meal, like Mama's Garden. Highly recommended!
From Villa Dolphin it is only a 10 minute walk, or two minutes by car, to the endless, quiet sand-pebble beach.
Here too there are a few tavernas. They also have subeds and umbrellas for rent.
If you walk on for adistance you will find yourself almost alone, even in high season!
The seawater is very clear and meets the strictest requirements ("Blue Flag").
There are inviting long walks between the olive groves in the surroundings
