Travelling to Rhodes

Access to Rhodes

All flights to Rhodes arrive at Diagoras International Airport.

From all major airports in the UK and continental Europe there are several direct flights a week during the season (roughly from April until the end of October/beginning of November).

All year round Aegean Airlines serves Rhodos a couple of times a day from Athens. Aegean also  flies from many major airports all over Europe so one can travel to Rhodes all year round with only one stopover.

Of course Rhodes is accessible by sea too.

There is a ferry running from and to Piraeus and a number of other islands almost daily.

These connections are operated by Blue Star Ferries and ANEK.

Villa Dolphin

is situated about 60 km from the airport and Rhodes Town.

The roads on Rhodes are in good condition and it is easy to explore the island by rental car. Apart from the well-known international rental companies there are many local firms.

Although Gennadi is connected by a regular bus service, we recommended hiring a car.

If you don't want to drive yourself you can also take an interesting day trip with Vantouristas.
